Who We Are

We are members of the Peninsula Committee Los Angeles Philharmonic (PCLAP), founded in 1952, one of 12 Affiliate Committees whose volunteers support the mission of the LA Phil through fundraising, youth music outreach, and fostering the love of music in the community. Our members are ambassadors for music from the Palos Verdes Peninsula and the South Bay.

Our Mission

The Peninsula Committee Los Angeles Philharmonic (PCLAP) is a volunteer non-profit organization that supports the LA Phil and Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA) through fundraising and volunteering. We also raise money to support local music programs for youth in the South Bay. We host unique musical events to showcase talented musicians from the LA Philharmonic and our local community.

One of our joys and privileges is to support YOLA, Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, a program through the LA Philharmonic. YOLA provides exceptional, intensive music education to young people across LA's diverse communities and beyond.
