Fanfare for Fall is Coming!

Peninsula Committee Los Angeles Philharmonic is proud to announce that its primary fundraiser, Fanfare for Fall, will be held this year on November 1st from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Palos Verdes Golf Club in Rolling Hills Estates.  Fanfare for Fall is the modern day version of Music Fair which was held for many years at Chadwick School and Palos Verdes High School featuring performances by the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Fanfare for Fall is intended to entertain our guests with lively, upbeat, happy and exciting music that will lift their spirits, bring smiles to their faces and convince them that spending the evening of Nov. 1 at the Palos Verdes Golf Club is the most enjoyable, satisfying, best thing to do for their own entertainment and for the purpose of supporting the LA Phil and school music programs.

The following world-class musicians will be featured:

Andrew Moses, Clarinetist

Andrew Moses

Sixteen year-old composer and clarinetist Andrew Moses is an emerging soloist who has been captivating audiences with his expressive artistry and “clear and beautiful tone1.”  Hailed “an artist to watch2“, he has appeared on From the Top on NPR and is a recipient of From the Top’s Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award. As a composer, Andrew was awarded a Composer Fellowship with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for the 2013-2015 seasons.  The LAPhil premiered two short symphonic works of his at Walt Disney Concert Hall in the past two seasons, and he was commissioned to write a string quartet for the LAPhil’s 2018-19 Centennial Season, which will be performed by the Calder Quartet.   Go to for more information on this exciting young artist.


Keith Harrison, Pianist

Keith HarrisonKeith Harrison is a brilliantly talented composer, pianist, singer, songwriter, producer, director, writer, actor, and media engineer.  As composer and producer, Keith has contributed music to nationally broadcast events including the Daytime Emmy Awards and Radio Disney Music Awards. He has also scored advertising campaigns for brands like McDonald’s, Allstate, and Big Lots. He has been a member of the music production team of American Idol, since 2012.

Keith is the house pianist for NBC Universal’s widely syndicated hour-long entertainment news show Access Hollywood Live, providing world-class accompaniment to established and rising singing stars.  Go to for more information.

Marc Bolin Brass Ensemble

Marc has performed with some of the world’s finest organizations such as the Guy Lombardo Orchestra, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey Orchestras, Carla Bley, Johnny Rivera, Herman Olivera, Pete Escovedo, Sheila E, Black Eyed Peas and the Ink Spots. He recently participated in a State Tour of China playing traditional Jazz, performed with the Ambassadors of New Orleans’ Jazz at the Red Sea Jazz Festival in Israel, has performed in two of Philip Glass’ Operas Akhenaton and La Belle et la Bete and has even played on the Mississippi Riverboats.  In 2007 Marc was commissioned to realize Duke Ellington’s incomplete opera Queenie Pie for the Oakland Opera Theater.  Go to for more information.

Merima Ključo, Concert Accordionist

Merima Ključo is a Bosnian-born, Los Angeles-based concert accordionist. Her repertoire draws from classical, avant-garde and experimental music as well as Balkan, Sephardic and Klezmer traditions.

Ključo has been a guest soloist with a number of symphonic orchestras, including the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Holland Symphonia, and the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. As soloist she has participated in the St Magnus Festival, the City of London Festival, the Gaudeamus Festival and the Gubaidulina Festival among others.
