Mike Lang at the May 17 Salon

“We are in the presence of genius.  If Bach were alive today, he would be Mike Lang,” said Ann Ehrenclou, referring to both men’s skills as great improvisors.

Mike spent several decades as one of the premiere musical talents in Los Angeles.  He is both a freelance jazz musician and sought-after studio artist, with a career spanning records, motion pictures and television.  A three-time winner of the MVP Grammy Award and recipient of numerous gold records, Mike is conversant with every possible music idiom and form, including jazz, classical, pop and R&B.

He will be appearing at the Catalina Jazz Club at 6725 W. Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, on Tuesday June 26 at 8:00 pm.  For more on his amazing accomplishments, click here

Many thanks to Kei Benoit for arranging outstanding musical programs this year, to Carole La Caze for sharing her stunning home, to Denise Clement for these top-notch photos.
